I'm pretty sure Drew posted most of what went on today, but it was some good manual labor. It was pretty awesome getting to make a door knocking out a literal stone door with extremely basic tools. It took a while and some sweat to say the very least. Definitely the same with framing the wall and Matt and Ben working on the windows. Although we worked the whole day in the TORCH Mission/Mi Esparanza units, it is so rewarding knowing that these people will be helped - expanding storage for Mi Esparanza and utilizing efficiency for both. We may never and most likely will not see 99 percent of the faces of those helped, but that isn't what it's always about!
Hands and body sore but heart full!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” -Romans 1:16-17
